Welcome to the CMS PTO website!
This is the second year for our web site and we are very excited to be able to provide valuable information that we believe beneficial to the parent population at CMS. It will continue to be a “work in progress” as we find new things to add and old things to make better. Continue to check back on a weekly basis for up-to-date information. This year our PTO meetings will be held the third Tuesday every other month in the school cafeteria. Our hope is that each of you will try to attend at least a few of these sessions during the school year to hear about upcoming school events and volunteer opportunities.
We are fortunate that our PTO has been able to sponsor a variety of things such as student social events, after school enrichment opportunities, hospitality for various teacher, parent and student events, District wide initiatives, as well as gifts back to the school for physical improvements and programming. All of these add value to your child’s overall experience at CMS. However, these activities require both a volunteer component and the financial support of our families.
We will raise our funds this year through:
· CMS PTO Membership dues of $20.00 per child which can again be done online through CommunityPass.
· One fun student involved fundraiser to be announced.
· CMS Spirit Wear
· After School Enrichment Programs
There will be plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer as well. We hope you will take advantage of all that is available.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful school year and another successful PTO program!
