We hope you are enjoying the summer and we look forward to welcoming your child back on August 26th. We want to update you on a few things prior to the start of the school year.
On July 26th, students’ network passwords will change, meaning they won't be able to sign in to their district accounts. The Genesis Parent Portal will open up again on the afternoon of Friday, August 2nd. At this time parents/guardians will be able to sign in and access their child’s new password. This is when students will have access to their accounts again. Students’ schedules will also be accessible in the Genesis Parent Portal.
We will be hosting our CMS Open Houses on Thursday, August 15th from 1-3pm and Tuesday, August 20th from 5-7pm. If your child would like to attend, please have them bring a copy of their schedule so they can find their classrooms and walk through their daily schedule. Chromebooks will be distributed to our new students and incoming 6th graders at the open houses. Additional information regarding the Chromebook distribution process will be forthcoming.
Lastly, you can find our CMS school supply lists on this page of our website. After August 2nd, review your child’s schedule to see what teachers they have and use these supply lists to help you with school-related purchases.
