From March 19-22, 2025, the Chatham High School Theatre Department will present their spring musical, The Music Man. Meredith Willson’s The Music Man follows fast-talking con man Harold Hill as he poses as a boys’ band organizer to swindle the people of River City, Iowa. His scheme is complicated when he unexpectedly falls for Marian, the town’s skeptical librarian and music teacher, whose belief in him transforms his plans—and his heart. Filled with show-stopping numbers, unforgettable characters, and heartfelt charm, this beloved musical is a timeless celebration of love, community, and the transformative power of music.

Performances will be held Wednesday, March 19 at 4:30 pm, Thursday, March 20, Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22 at 7:30 PM.

Tickets for the performances are $12.00 for students, $15.00 for adults, and FREE for senior citizens, and must be purchased in advance online at https://chathamsd.booktix.com starting Monday, March 3rd.  Senior Citizens should use the comp code: FREESC at checkout.

Following the Wednesday performance is a complimentary dinner for senior citizens provided by the Chatham Education Foundation. An RSVP for the dinner is required and reservations can be placed by emailing seniorspringmusical@gmail.com.

When registering for the dinner, please indicate if you have already purchased a ticket to the show. If you have not already purchased a ticket, a ticket will be provided to the performance with your dinner reservation.
